The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Scotland County. The advisory takes effect at 10:15 am on September 17 and remains in place until 1:00 pm on September 17.
Patchy dense fog will be found across the area through the early morning commute. Visibility may drop below a quarter mile at times, and could fluctuate rapidly over short distances. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
