Please help us welcome Mrs. Kim Kilson, new sixth grade special education teacher at Kirksville Middle School!Kim brings eight years of experience with her, having been a paraprofessional for five years in Illinois before joining Kirksville R-III as a para for the past year and a half. Originally a graduate of Gothenburg High School in Nebraska, she earned her bachelor's degree from Central Christian College and her master's degree from Lincoln Christian University. For Kim, the most rewarding part of teaching is knowing she has made a difference in a student's life.Outside of school, she has been married to her husband, Jim, for 24 years, and they have an 18-year-old son, Noah. In her free time, she loves traveling to National Parks and visiting museums with her family.
