Kirksville Parks and Recreation’s Paint the Ville painting series is back for the fall. Instructor Rachel Messer guides painters step by step, and the $20 fee covers paint, brushes, canvas, easel and instruction; participants take their artwork home. Kids ages 6 and up can sign up for their own seat, and parents are encouraged to paint alongside.
Classes start at 5:30 p.m. at the Kirksville Aquatic Center: Chick or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 22; Thing 3 from “The Cat in the Hat” on Monday, Nov. 16; and Bubble Gum Blitzen on Thursday, Dec. 17. Class sizes are limited. Register online through the city’s recreation login page, or call Recreation Coordinator Keegan Whisler at 660-627-1485.
