NEMO Senior Citizens Services has posted its October activities calendar, alongside its regular weekly Cards and Bingo afternoons. One-time programs include a USDA Rural Development home-repairs session (Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.), an Equity Bank scam-awareness talk (Oct. 12, 11:30 a.m.), karaoke with Glen Moots (Oct. 15, 11 a.m.), an apples session with the Jennifer Schutter Extension Center (Oct. 16), a Kirksville Parks & Recreation puzzles-and-pizza session (Oct. 20, 12:30 p.m.), a Medicare Part D presentation with NMHC’s Shelly Davis (Oct. 22, 11:30 a.m.), and an NMHC healthy-smiles and healthy-aging talk (Oct. 27, 11:30 a.m.). All programs are held at the center, 2815 N. Baltimore St., Suite D.
